OMAHA, Neb., June 3 — Geokey, a leader in mobile access technology, has announced its integration with Igloo, a global innovator in smart lock solutions. The integration connects Geokey’s cloud-based platform with Igloo’s full suite of locks—including Switch, Deadbolt, and Wireless models—to deliver a flexible, secure access control system for property owners and operators.

The integration enables users to unlock doors via the Geokey mobile app, while administrators benefit from a unified system for PIN code and fob management, mobile unlocks, and access reporting. Notably, Geokey will now support both online and offline capabilities using Igloo’s proprietary algoPIN™ technology—a key differentiator that allows secure PIN codes to be delivered and used even if the device is offline or without bridge connectivity. Custom PINs can be sent instantly when online, and the system automatically reverts to algoPIN™ for offline use if Wi-Fi or connectivity fails—ensuring continuous, uninterrupted access.

Additional features include remote lock/unlock functionality via API, real-time event notifications through webhook subscriptions, detailed audit trails, and proactive battery and lock health monitoring. This provides property teams with full visibility and control over their access environment, whether managing one building or an entire portfolio.
